December 2018: Manuel Merida met Darius Oliva at secondary school, in Gibraltar, the connection grew stronger over the years sharing a passion for music, cinematography and art in general.
February 2019: During a long conversation Between Darius and Manuel, they discussed different issues in the industry Darius had begun to step foot into, the music industry.
After repeated conversations, the problem at hand was evident, the industry lacks trust and direct fan engagement, and for emerging artists, the financial burden is far too great in order to kickstart their career.
June 2019: Manuel thought of a platform, which we now know as Starshare.
The initial concept has evolved significantly but from this moment onwards, the conceptual foundations were laid and the work began.
March 2024: Manuel Merida the Co-Founder and Lead engineer forgot his passport at his university dorm, therefore he couldn't go back to Spain, a university friend helped him get his passport and Roshaine Wright accompanied him.
April 2024: Manuel Merida and Roshaine Wright built a strong relationship surrounding their drive for entrepreneurship, and innovation.
May 2024: Our Co-Founders Roshaine and Manuel, discussed different ventures possible, and Manuel mentioned the idea he had been working on for years now, Starshare.
August 2024: After several months of working on the concept, we developed the foundations of our business.
We prepared our applications for The King's College London Idea Factory and the University of Southampton 100 Big IDEA competition.
December 2024: We developed a partnership with FanHaven, based in Los Angeles and Yann Marmara a Music Engineer who has been in the industry for more than a decade.
January 2025: We were fortunate to be awarded winners of the 100 Big IDEA competition, and we passed to the next round as the semi-finalist of the Idea Factory.
February 2025: We passed on the Finals of the Idea factory, where we attended a Pitch-off within the King's College London Campus
May 2025: We have been accepted into the King's College London Startup Accelerator Programme.
August 2025: The Completed MVP is available at
